I have very long hair, and have always had to get hair out of the "axle" from the ends on which the brush turns. This had always been easy on my Hoovers, because it may be unscrewed. But the brush ends on my DD do not seem to come apart. Is it designed to? Tonight I tried to get it apart and now it makes a clicking noise when manually turning it; when connected to the belt and plugged in it's loud of course.
This vacuum cost me a whole 35 bucks two years ago, as a temporary while my Hoover was being fixed. Oddly, it worked better than my new Hoover ever did.
