Dirt bike HELP PLEASE!?

my son is getting a mini 49cc dirt bike.

he found this dirt bike on ebay for 150 dollars.

it is MotocroX powersports. is this a good brand? does this bike last long and perform well? for people who want to see the bike, here is the link

It is a waste of money, go to a dealer near you and get one that has some sort of dealer back up.

no, consider the shipping on that thing, 120 bucks.

270$ for a cheapo bike, that seems pretty crazy to me.

also just for the record, the bike is on "sale" for 99.

a decent bike will cost you at least 1k new.

if you or your son REALLY want to try one of them out, i would go to one of those large "as seen on tv" stores, they have a large section of those kinds of things.

WHOA! Stop. Do not buy that cheapy thing. It's junk. They are made in China. You'll have problems the first day you buy it. Look for a Honda CRF50 or any other Honda. Be it Japanese brands and they will last you a lifetime. (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki) I'm just warning you on those chinese things. They arent worth $150 at that. Good luck on your purchase. (And do not buy no dang electric thing)

Like the guy above said.  It's junk.  150 DOLLARS!!!  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?  If you want something that will last and is a good brand, it better cost over a $1,500.  Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and KTM are the only brands worth buying.  MotorcroX is most likely something that you buy at Pep Boys.  It won't run but 6 months and will be nothing but c**p.  If you're wanting to really get your son into go buy the CRF50 like the guy said.  You're son is getting scammed if you buys that piece of c**p.  Go to a local MOTORCYCLE SHOP...   Not Pep Boys or Wal-Mart to get a dirtbike.   Also, pick up a dirtbike magazine and whatever brands you see in there is worth buying.

its not even a brand,

DONT BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT SUZULKI,HONDA,YAMAHA,KTM OR KAWASAKI on the engine, that bike will end up with more dissapointment more cost then anything else.
