  1. Check and make sure the valves are in the correct specs. Sometimes if they are loose or tight, it will make anything hard to start. If this rebuild was just done, and you have rode around on it for awhile since then, they would have been broken in and just need adjusting......2 stroke, meet spark plug. Always notorious.

  2. I would start with the jetting, sounds leen to me. Some 500's you start your kick on the comp. stroke. Once your kicker starts to move kick it all the way through with a little gas.It should lite. Good luck

  3. OK I have a Cr250, so i know how you feel you get so tired from kicking it you just want to quit. First thing is you need to change/check your spark plug it could possibly be fouled. also when you kick your dirtbike do not touch the throttle and give it gas. ( i did the same thing) It will Flood The carb. If none of these work or help. Check your fuel mixture you might be running it to rich or not so rich. 32:1 is the preffered mixture by honda.

If none Of theese work either you are not kicking hard enough or you have an internal problem with your kickstarter.

    Hope this helps!
