Dirt bikes on the street?

What do you have to do to a dirtbike (DR-Z 250) to make it street legal? i want to make it street legal just for getting around on the road. for example going to a friend house, going to the store, or just simply getting to a trail from the road instead of putting it on a trailer.

technicly dirt bikes are street legal as long as they have a lincence plate on them.

It must have at least a headlight (only at night), brake light, turn signals on front and back, and I think, a rear view mirror. I used to have an Enduro which of course is a street legal dirt bike. It must also be registered with a license plate and have liability insurance.

you need to get the dvla to register it go on their website it should tell you on there
