I am 15 about 5'6" and i have been riding for about 7 years. i own a little 80 trail bike, but i have been riding 85's alot and i have been on a couple 250's. I only weigh like 115 and dont know what size bike to move up to. the 85 is just way too small.

  1. At 5'6 and 15 years of age you should be fine on a 250cc 4 stroke.  Weight isnt really an issue if you have ridden bikes before then you should be fine.  My son races a crf250r and weighs less than you and is 15 years old and the same height.

  2. Personally I would go with a 250F. An 85 expert/100/105 will all be a little short on you. If you want to spend a little less money you could get a 125 I guess.

  3. id go with a 125 or 250

  4. Well if you are use to 2 strokes and dont feel comfortable on a 4 stroke go with a 125. but if you like 4 strokes go with a 250f. Because you are almost to big to ride  80's and it probably wont be to long till you grow. But go with a 125/250f and get some softer suspension and it will be perfect

  5. get a 125 or 250 what ever feels more comfortable and since you don't weigh alot the 250 might be 2 much

  6. yz250f. the 450 is a HUGE step up from a little 85

  7. 125cc-250cc you should be able to handle it

  8. A 125 or 250 would probably good for you. The 125 is good cuz it prepares you for a 250 because the seat height is almost the same. But, the 250f will be more controlled because of it's powerband. Try and ride both see which one u like. You can also look at the bigger trail bikes like yamaha's 230 or kawi's kx.

  9. well if u think you can handle a 450 go for it but if not just stick with the 250 ive only road for 5 years and ride a kx250 and a kx 85 both great bikes and i dont know if ur into racing but all my bikes are (r) like kx250r kx85r i think but thats cuz i race and their two strokes
