  1. Mr. Cave Man,

I wish I could understand your question a little better. I am disabled. I collect Social Security disability payments and I am a 100% disabled Veteran of the United States Air Force. The total amount of disability pay I receive is not enough for my wife and I to live without going paycheck to paycheck.

I paid for the Social Security benefits while I was working. The Veterans disability was earned while serving in the military. This is not the public dole. This is earned rights. And as worsen in condition the rules while pay for home care and if needed nursing care.

If I am reading your question correctly you seem to think all I do all day is try to s***w the taxpayers out of more money. All I can say to that is live one day in my shoes.

    Bill

  2. What do you mean? It exists for people who are entitled to it

  3. A lot of People Have told me to claim Disability Only Everytime allthough i could do with the Extra Money I Pose Myself 2 Questions  1st Question Could I live With the Guilt of Taking Money From People who are If  Genuine At a Disadvantage to me And the second one would be do I need The Stess of Lying to A Doctor Every now and then

  4. Cave Man.  You appear to have a genuine question in there but the way you have worded it does not give enough detail.

    Are you disabled?

Is it a relative that is disabled?

Is your question about benefits for the disabled person?

Is your question about Carers allowance?  -  payable to someone who looks after a disabled person.

You should be able to find the details you need at http://www.dwp.gov.uk/lifeevent/benefits...

  5. I don't fully understand your question either. My husband gets DLA as he had a stroke 4 years ago & is in a wheel-chair. I stopped getting carers allowance 2 years ago, when I turned 60. My pension seems to be classed as a benefit, but why I don't know.
