Hey everyone, I have a q. I have a disability that knocked me out of school. I use to bodybuild, model, and work. I am 22. I have severe anxiety disorder, OCD, Bipolar( hypomania, not manic depression ), and a bleeding disorder. All of this knocked me out of school, I am 5 classes short of getting an A.S. I want to go back to school. However, I cannot qualify for student loans or fin.aid because when everything happened to me, I had to keep dropping classes during three semesters, hence destroying my loan status and aid. The sad part is, when I quit school, I had a 3.1 GPA, I did have a 3.4, but my grades dropped cause of my disorders. Is there anywhere that I can get grant money for these disorders, what do I do. I am not on social security, and I want to go back and just finish my 5 classes, but I need some grant money. I cannot sit and rellish in my disorders, I want to go back and prove to myself I can.

  1. It is simple... go to the dean of admissions and ask for services with students what require special needs... they will align you

  2. Contact the Vocational Rehabilitation office in your area.  They will sometimes assist people who have documented disabilities with tuition fees and books.  Not sure if you would qualify, but it couldn't hurt to ask.
