Disable double click on sensor pad?

I need to disable the double click on my sensor pad because it's annoying. I know I've done it before, but I just can't remember how. I have looked everywhere, and I can't find it and no one has been of any help yet. It's really bothering me so if you know how to turn it off so I'm not accidentally opening random windows every five minutes, that would be great. Please hurry before I stomp on my keyboard.

its in control panel under mouse settings.

Make sure you are clicking on the touch pad settings not the mouse settings. You should have a dropdown box where you can select the device.
