Ok, I have a disability which affects my walking.

I can walk about, but am a little wobbly and get tired after a while. I have walking sticks to help with my balance.

Anyways, im in 2 minds whether to go to Venice of not with my cousin...........What do you think?

  1. To avoid the many bridges and long walks in Venice, get on a traghetto, the local water bus (http://www.actv.it/english/home.php). Depending by how long you want to stay there are different packages for the buses:

    14,00 € - 12-HOUR TRAVELCARD

    16,00 € - 24-HOUR TRAVELCARD

    21,00 € - 36-HOUR TRAVELCARD

    26,00 € - 48-HOUR TRAVELCARD

    31,00 € - 72-HOUR TRAVELCARD

  2. I would go.... Do not let the bridges , etc in Venice steer you away from going... Go and have fun...

You can sit in the beautiful St. Mark's Square  when you need  a break ....

You can rent a wheelchair if you need one...

  3. . It has many cobblestones and small alley like streets but equally as many wonderful cafes to help you rest and enjoy the ambiance. Venice is a city one shoulld not miss. It is a city where you can take your time and enjoy. Once can easily spend a day sitting in the Piazza San Marco watching the activity of the people, culture and gondolas .
