Hi, I will be flying from Gatwick soon away for a few days. The person I am travelling with is registered disabled, ie has a blue badge. Generally they can park where ever free, but what is the situation at Gatwick airport? I have been on their website but there is no email address for general enquiries.

Thanks

  1. you don't always get to park for free with a Blue Badge ... often in commercial car parks they provide the disabled bays in a convenient location near to the exit but the charge for parking is the same as anyone else ... last week I was in Rhyl in north Wales and the local authority there have a policy of charging disabled customers exactly the same as everyone else, they just get the wider parking bays and the convenient locations

    the Gatwick Airport website

    http://www.gatwick-airport-guide.co.uk/d...

says "For general advice and information regarding the special needs facilities at Gatwick Airport telephone +44 (0)870 0002468."

  2. You can try calling them on is +44 (0)870 000 2468.

    Hope this helps.
