Disabling Hardware from Device Manager

Question

Got Acer laptop, Orbicam (the inbuilt webcam) was causing some problems, I don't use it I just enabled it from Device Manager once to see how good it was.

Its not working properly because when i close my laptop it won't let me hibernate, I don't mind that its not working but I tried to disable it, Device Manager keeps freezing on me.

Is there another way to manually disable it? Its built into the laptop so I can't physically disable it.

Have you tried sleep mode, it boots up alot faster because the power is still on, hibernate are for long periods with the power off.
