Question:

Disappointed the Cruise Ships don’t dock in Hamilton Bermuda anymore?

Two years ago we took Norwegian Cruise, The Crown to Bermuda. We docked at St. George, Hamilton and Kings Wharf. We would like to go again next year but I see that the ships out of New York only dock at King’s Wharf and the ships from Philadelphia dock at St. George. I am very disappointed that they do not dock in Hamilton anymore.

Does anyone know, in the future, if the ships will dock at Hamilton again?

Kings Wharf is at the edge of the island and the day we were at there it rained but it seemed pretty deserted and the only thing to do was shop. Is there anything do to do there now? I also read that they may start a free shuttle service form King’s Wharf to Hamilton because the store owners are losing a lot of money. Does anyone know if this will be in effect next year?

Does anyone know of any website to ask cruise questions?

  2. You can still dock in Hamilton!  There is a 5 night sailing out of Boston in October on a Royal Caribbean ship that docks on Hamilton and Kings Wharf.  Even better, beginning in 2010, Holland America will once again be sailing from NYC to Bermuda and will stop in St. Georges and Hamilton!  So it will soon be possible once again.  See the article here:
