Disaster! Cross Country?

Well, I didn't really run at all this summer xD and we were supposed to run 4 miles a day.. What should I do? We have a meet soon.. How should I break it down so that I only run a certain amount of miles a day, but reach my goal?

  1. run 3-4 miles.  if you have to walk a little, then do it.  try to egt as many miles in as you can.  core exercises will also help you.  talk to your coach and see if he/she has any ideas for you.  good luck!

  3. First of all, any running at all will help. Get out there and run!

    Some days, run slower but further. Other days, run your distance but try to pick up the pace. If you can run the course for the meet beforehand, that might alleviate some of the nerves you've got from not having practiced this summer.

    I always forgot to practice during summer >.>
