Disaster to decor!!! Orange walls and no idea on what to do!!!?

Ok. So here's the deal. I moved in with a friend and she just recently had the room i'm staying in painted....ORANGE!!! Not a bright orange, but a dull, almost terra cota, but not quite there yet, orange. I need some decor ideas such as what colors match the walls or contrast the walls to make it look pretty. Some ideas? Anyone? HELP!!!

Buy sheets and hang them over top the walls....that's an awful colour and it will be interesting if anyone has any real suggestions. Should ask your friend what she was going to decorate with....possibility??

Things that could compliment it.  Some earthy tone colors.  Maybe some perfect shade of green and yellow.  Something that makes it look nice and unique.

If you want a boho look, you can use golds, reds, and leaf greens with the orange. Baskets, carved accessories and embroidered pillows in gold, red, and leafy green would make the room look boho chic.

If you want a teen fun look, then purple, turquoise blue, and pink would work well. A leopard comforter and turquoise sheets and curtains would be super with a turquoise paper lantern light. Turquoise, pink, and purple toss pillows and accessories would finish the look.

If you want a preppy look, then white, lime green, and peach would get that effect. A plaid comforter with those colors and lime green curtains would look great with lime, peach, and white accessories and toss pillows.
