does anyone get a thin, clear, stretchy discharge around the time of their expected period?

i had it for about 4 days..i had more the 3rd day than any other day.

It's not watery or anything, and theres not alot of it.

I doubt i'm pregnant, i've had a period [yes, it was definetly a period..not vaginal bleeding or spotting] and 7 negative hpts since the last time i had s*x [over a month ago.]

And i've never had unprotected s*x.

Is this discharge normal? it has no odor or anything.

I'm expecting my period within the next week, and im pretty sure its coming because i'm bloated constipated moody and have cramps [i always do right before my period.]

  1. Clear discharge before you period is your egg coming down from you ovulating and happens everytime but maybe you just starting to notice it. however it can never hurt to consult with your doctor just to make sure.

  2. iA clear stretchy discharge something like egg white consistency discharge is normal around ovulation. if your discharge is not smelly, or not a weird colour egg .green or yellow , and there is no pain associated with it and youdon'tt have a fever don'tt worry about it. Its normal to have abrownish dischargee just before your period.

  3. Yes, clear thin stretchy discharge is normal.Glands inside your v****a make small amounts of fluid. This fluid flows out of the v****a each day, carrying out old cells that have lined the v****a. This is your body's way or keeping the v****a healthy and clean. The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate, before your period comes, when you are breastfeeding, or when you're sexually excited. Changes that signal a problem include an increase in the amount of discharge, a change in color or smell of the discharge.
