i just bought a LA 115 and those pesky "safety" sensors drive me nuts. my father has a gx 345 and i didn't have any problem figuring out how to rewire them but this one seems to be a little more difficult. i didn't have to cut anything just bridge a couple of wires. I don't want to cut anything in case i need to return for warranty work.

  1. They are there for a reason. Working with the local Fire Dept. for over 20 years has given me plenty of chances to see the results of people defeating safety switches. It's never pretty, but it can make for some interesting discussion at the firehouse, and for really gruesome pictures to post on some of the emergency and public safety sites.

Leave 'em alone, and keep all your appendages where they belong.

  2. Leave the sensors alone. I know they are a pain but they are there for your safety. They might save your hand or foot or your child someday.

  3. leave the sensor and the kill switch they are there for a reason
