Disconnection Problems!!!?

Question

I have windows xp and i have a modem and i use comcast. The modem says ARRIS on it and i also have a Belkin Wireless G plus mimo router.

Everytime i play like Last Chaos, Soldier Front, and Combat arms i always dissconnect after every 10 mins and with Combat Arms i dissconnect right after i log in. Is it because of the router? Ever since i put it in i had problems. And i need the router for my laptop. plz someone help me. i also use internet explorer 7 and firefox

Most games require ports to be opened on the router so that the connection is complete. You need to check to see if you have properly told the router to forward those so that your gaming works.
