Anyone experienced this cruise line and hotel stay?

I sailed with Discovery Last year and stayed at the Sheraton Our Lucaya. We had a great time - the ship was a great way to get there, the staff were freindly and the food was good. Yes, it is an older ship, but the staff and service really made us feel special during the five hour trip to Grand Bahama. We paid a little extra to upgrade to Discovery Plus service and it was well worth it. We were escorted onboard, skipping the lines, had a champagne breakfast, used the private lounge and had transfers waiting for us when we arrived in the Bahamas. On the way back we enjoyed a fantastic 7 course dinner - one of the highlights of the trip. The hotel was beautiful, although a little quiet as it was not season. Would suggest you book directly with Discovery at www.discoverycruiseline.com to see exactly what you are paying. This is not a luxury cruise by any means, but we think it was great value for money and will go back again, simply because of the good service that we got.

We had a great trip on this line!  It was enjoyable, the food was very good, the staff was great, the hotel we stayed in was nice.  Definitely a trip I'd recommend!
