Discression tipped for success in Elements Medispa Handicap
Discression is expected to record a hat-trick of victories in the sport by winning the Elements Medispa Handicap at Doncaster in England on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He is a very good runner, but will have to be at his absolute best in order to succeed
in the class-2 event, which has a cash prize of £12,450 for the winner.
The young runner is not much dependent on the track conditions, yet he would definitely enjoy running on a dry track. Luckily for him, the weather at Doncaster has been good, thus the conditions have remained as good to firm. He will just need to show his
true speed in order to finish on top of the table in the 7 furlong event, which is scheduled to start at 16:45 GMT.
A total of 14 contestants will be battling out for glory in the race and a few of them have been performing really well in recent times, thus they will make the competition interesting.
One of these participants is Strictly Silver, who has enjoyed a pretty decent time during the ongoing season. He has not won any event this year, but has been giving a tough time to his opponents with consistency.
The three-year-old colt is carrying a good momentum right now, as he finished as a runner up in his previous two races. Due to this, he has managed to win the confidence of the bookies, who have rated him as the favourite to succeed today.
However, Discression cannot be taken lightly at all, as he has got an impressive speed and is carrying the winning momentum as well. He has been given a general starting price of 6 to 1 and will definitely catch the attention of the punters.
The Kevin Ryan’s trainee made his debut in 2011 and took part in just a couple of races that year. He displayed excellent skills back then and finished as a runner up on both occasions.
Things did not work out well for the three-year-old colt at the start of the 2012 season, but he found some form recently. He finished first in his previous two outings and will be looking for continuity under jockey, Graham Lee.
