Discrimination against volleyball players???

Question

I just recently made the jv volleyball team. Our varsity girls cannot wear spandex in the school division but yet are competitiors can. How do we convince our athletic director Thats its not fair we cant wear spandex. But yet wrestling swimmers gymnists and cheerleaders can wear short from fitting clothes and yet FOR Our own Good that we can wear spandex

You'll have to convince your coach that he/she should talk to the A.D. about this.  It's possible that the objection to spandex for the volleyball team has to do with some of the current styles.  I see a lot of players wearing extremely short spandex (like 2" inseams) and also roll the waistband down.  It's not pretty when a player wears shorts that are too small for her either -- they basically become translucent and quite a few anatomical details are on display.  

You can wear spandex under the uniform shorts and show that the spandex you and your teammates choose is modest enough to pass muster with the A.D.  

I can guarantee you that whining won't help you make your case, however.  Do something positive and proactive.
