Im an Asian and I am currently doing my a-levels and intending to pursue my degree in USA or Canada, however, Ive heard that theres discrimination in application and Asians possess less chance of being accepted, is this true?

I understand theres qouta for international students, but is there really discrimination?

Any why do they discriminate? Religion? Skin colour?

  1. There is no discrimination in determining an applicants ability to study at a certain university. You will find in the U.S. that the majority of universities are very diverse with people from all over the world and in fact many of the international students are from countries such as China, Korea and India more so than there are students from Western European countries.

If you have the correct grades, documentation and test scores, you have as much as chance as the next person of being accepted into a university.
