its now fashionable for HR to be as diverse as possible,   white CEO, brown deputy, yellow analyst, indian IT, chinese accountant etc

it has become necessary to tap the talents of the world to make the company work for more profit as many cultures have and can input an operation that a monoculture cant see.  japan - monolithic society - refused to embrace global HR - is now stagnating and going down slowly.  they themselves r complaining and yet dont know what to do.  

when u recruit - u have to understand culture.

when i was in israel - i had 82 nationalities working together at the bahai centre- can be boon or / and bane.  but i now understand african, norwegian, icelandic, chinese aussie,  afri-amer, etc  

the diversity is jsut fantastic and the talent pool is so enlarged!
