Discuss nurses as teachers.?

I am an early childhood special education teacher...most of the times I feel that I should add /nurse to the end of my title.  When working with children with special needs, I have to be well versed in medication, physical disorders, physical development, and other practices such as catheterization, feeding tubes, and trach tubes.  But I am a different breed of teacher...most of your regular education teachers have to be the nurse that determines when children are sick, when things have gone too far, and much more.
