A culture is defined in terms of values, beliefs and attitudes

- Unity in Diversity (We may have different languages 22 official and innumerable unofficial, 8 major religions with numerous others, 4 of the world's oldest religions originated here making India the birthplace and homeland of faith and philosophy, varieties of food and ways of life but we all live in reasonable unity and respect for the other person's beliefs)

- Common values include respect for parents, teachers and elders, strong family ties, respect for nature, life and animals (motorists will stop to let animals pass or go around them). Most marriages are also arranged with emotional involvement from parents and elders who continue support well into the marriage.

- Attitudes include putting education first. The most educated are usually the most respected. Parents try their best to get their children to focus on education. Medicine and Engineering being the hot sectors with services as the main industry.

The average life span of an Indian will usually follow this pattern

7-25 years - Study and focus on education (extreme poverty can drive some to unfortunate child labor)

25-50 - Get married, raise a family and enjoy all that the world has to offer

50-75 - Retire and focus on spiritual pursuits and pilgrimages (People take pilgrimages to Varanasi, Mecca (Haj), Himalayas, Amritsar, focus on Meditation, Yoga)

75- end - Help take care of grandchildren and share your experiences with youngsters.

There is no "indian" culture per se.  Customs vary by region and even the languages spoken across India are drastically different.  Some aspects that are fairly widespread might be the caste system and the dominance of hinduism, buddhism, and islam as religions.
