  1. Having arbitrary age-bands and associated learning expectations does a disservice to most kids.

    In some areas the learning will be too slow and in other areas too fast.

    Say you have a kid that is talented with math but slower with reading: in math the kid will be bored and with reading the kid will be frustrated.  Result: learning is not fun and not effective.


  2. While most children develop at similar rates, mos children develop at different rates with different strengths.

  3. I get the feeling that this is a question on some class work of yours- am I correct?
