Disguise the taste of alcohol

So my friend just bought me some alcohol and the I dont like the taste, so any ways to disguise the taste? thanks

Different drinks and ingredients do more to mask the flavor of the alcohol itself, but your question leaves out a few details.

What are you currently drinking? Is it an "alcopop"?

No offense, but your post doesn't come across like someone who is old enough to drink. If not, please don't as it will only bring bad things.

So if you are old enough, talk to your bartender and see what advice he/she gives.

edit: Another question you asked at another time asks about penalties for drinking under the age of 18. This is illegal. I know most of us did this, but underage drinking is not tolerated as it used to be. Be very, very careful.

high grade grain alcohol virtually has no taste. alcohol such as the brand "everclear". the next best taste friendly hard alchohol would be vodka, you can try mixing it with iced tea, it is virtually neutral in taste this way, if you order this drink at the bar you would ask for a "rusty nail".-blurey

depends on what you have...if it's clear, like vodka or rum, orange juice covers the taste pretty well. next time, maybe try to buy some higher quality alcohol. it will have a smoother taste.

I guess in your country 18 is the legal age, even still you sound very inexperienced.

The goal of consuming alcohol is to enjoy the complex flavors, not get wasted and disguise the flavor. The flavor is what makes it good.

Still, depending on what you are drinking, most spirits mix well with Coke, and if you like Coke then that's your ticket.

depends what it is...

Vodka - best IMO with Red Bull

Gin/Rum - try it with Coke or loads of Orange Juice

Cider - blackcurrant is nice

Wine - Well there is no disgusing that, maybe if it is white use soda or lemonade...?
