Dish Network Duel Receiver DVR “Switch Box Error”. Error #502. Can’t even use the DVR! ***PLEASE HELP!***

OK, if I have the TV in the living room on & try to use the TV in my bedroom I get an error message asking me to run a Switch Check. I run the check and this message pops up:

“A problem has been detected with your switch box configuration. If both tuners are being used, they must both be connected to the same satellite.

This problem could be caused by a faulty switch box or incorrect connections. If the problem can not be found or fixed, remove the satellite connection from one of the tuners.

This problem bust be resolved before you can use your receiver. Please make the appropriate modifications and exit this screen to view the results of the check switch test & run check switch again.”

I go in the other room, disconnect the feed for the TV in my bedroom, run the test, & rehook the cord & BOTH TV’s will work just fine for a couple of hours but then it does this again!!

Try  disabling the updates, disconnect Tuner 2 coax  run check switch. Then reconnect Tuner 2.
