Dish Network HD DVR receiver cabling requirements?

I'm getting 2 Dish Network HD DVRs. One upstairs connected to one TV, and one downstairs connected to one TV.

How many cables do I need from the dish to each receiver.

  1. With each DVR........

    At the least you should have gotten the standard 3 headed yellow/red/whites to use.  If you have new enough tv you can use a single HDMI.
