  1. call 1 800 333 3474, ask for the "dish-n-it-up" promo. basic receiver is $50.00 installed, adding $5.00 a mo. to your bill for programing.....that's it.....remember call dish directly, not a telemarketer

  2. You will need a 301 or a 311 they are both single tuners. you can buy it from dish for about $100-$150 depending on the deals they have going, You can also buy it at a radio shack.

Once you have it dish will charge you $5.00 a month to use it.

The first thing you need to find out is what type of LNB is on your dish, This is the eye that the receivers plug into. If it is a pro twin or a pro plus  and you have only one cable coming from it you will run another cable for the new receiver. If it has two cables coming from it you will need to have dish network do the install. Their are many types of LNBs and other complicated issues you can run into. You may or may not have different devices that look like cable splitters on you receiver. These are a frequency splitter and diplexers. I dont recommend tampering with these.

You do have one more option that will be free.

On the back of your receiver their are two outputs, TV-1 TV-2

If you put a normal cable splitter on TV-2 and run it to your third TV You will be able to take the remote for TV-2 in that room and use just like you did for TV-2, Just make sure you put the third tv on the same channel as tv-2.
