Dishwasher whirlpool 6th sense ADP 2966 WHM

Hi my dishwasher has stopped mid cycle the make and model is listed above. The start button is flashing periodically and to the right of the start delay is F2 guess this is the fault. I don't have a hand book as it was given to us it has been working fine since christmas. Hope you can help!
