appliance had low pressure to lower rotating arm, and almost no water at all to upper arm, after stripping the machine down, I discovered the 15mm isolation valve supplying the aquastop hose to the appliance was faulty. The appliance was rebuilt, and i appear to have created a secondary fault.
Water now enters the appliance, and is almost immediately pumped out by the float switch. I obtained a connection and circuit diagram from bsh appliance care, and all the connections appear to be correct.
However, the miniature micro switch operating the level switch, has 3 legs 2 of which are terminated: 1 white to the float switch and earth to the appliance body, the third is not terminated.
Whilst the appliance is filling and then pumping out the third leg of the level switch has 240v standing on it. If I operate the level switch manually the cycle begins. Following manual operation the appliance can be turned on and off, and the cycle will carry on normally. However as soon as the appliance finishes one cycle and calls for more water the cycle will not actuate again unless i manually actuate the level switch.
Any suggestions,
kind regards ,
sga elec.
