I removed the dishwasher from kitchen recess because I was told It would not heat the water and was not washing thoroughly. I placed the machine on its side to do a continuity test on the heating element. After re-righting the dishwasher to see what happens, the machine indicates it is performing a pre-wash, runs the pump that empties the water out continuously, allows some water into the machine for a short time (approx 1 minute) then cuts the water off (pump continues to run) and displays what I am guessing is a fault code of 10 and beeps every 5 seconds. Discharge pump will not shut off and cycle will not progress any further. I have contacted a local spare parts distributer and the helpful person explained that the code indicated a problem with the pressure switches. Insufficient level is my guess because the discharge pump will not shut off. Help me please.
