Disk boot error

Question

afte rturning on the system on Mercury is Appearing on the screen and system is not giving any response.(My motherboard is of mercury)
After restarting sometimes system is proceeding but giving erro "disk boot failure".I have cleaned the ide connector on both the side (Motherboard and hdd),also checked no pin is broken.
