I've never personally had a dislocated shoulder but I have seen a couple bein "popped" back in and they didnt run back out on field..

I mean I know theyre professional but theyre not superman, shouldnt that hurt?

Jason Porplyzia dislocated his shoulder in the 1st quarter and didnt return for the rest of the game (much to my dream teams disgust)

How can tadhg possibly play out a season with his shoulder continuing to do this?

  1. as roosey said "It's was probably more obvious on the weekend because it came out a couple of times, but he's certainly been playing with it most of the year and, in a sense, the fact that is slips out so easily is probably positive because it goes back in so easy," he said.

"As soon as it goes back in there's no pain and he can function with it and all those sorts of things.

"I suspect at some point he might have to have an operation but at the moment, provided he's training well and his confidence is good, he'll keep on playing."

    TADHG IS A TOUGH NUT!

  2. Looking at his face he was definitely in pain, but it all depends on the type of dislocation. In some cases it can be just popped back in and you can just go about your business, but I don't think anyone would recommend continuing to play high contact sports immediately after even with full mobility.

I think Tadhg's having a bit of a frustrating season with his shoulder mucking up and he just wants to get in there and be an asset to the team.

Sometimes with repeated dislocations surgery is needed to correct the problem, but he may be wanting to wait until the end of the season and just put up with it till then.

  3. He's one big tough Irishman, that's how! Wasted on AFL, give him to RL.

  4. I think he'd be better off taking some time off and getting his shoulder fixed, rather than risking a very serious injury every time it pops out.

  5. He wont be able to keep it up.

Opposition players will now target him, now that they know he has a bung wing.

He would be a good one to go the biff on as he wouldn't have much strength in his shoulder to throw a decent retaliatory punch.

  6. You have to take into consideration he is an Irishman!

He grew up playing that gaelic version of round ball football & with no tackling allowed in it  - it was obvious he would grow up developing into a bit of a softie.

He should go back to playing that silly game & leave this game to those tough enough to play it.

  7. **He was obviously in a lot of pain when it happened but he must be one tough guy to continue to keep playing when it could easily pop again.**

  8. He's just like any other footy player who wants too be tough and play if they can, plus his team isn't doing too badly so Im sure he wants too be there even more for a chance too get into the finals!

  9. He should give it up, not

    take it up.

    Shows how little brains

he had, to go back on and do

    it again.

Serves him right! I have no

    sympathy for him.
