  1. It's a very nice resort! I have stayed there a few times and have never been disappointed!

They have buses that can take you to each park and they are all about a 5-10min ride. It's not that bad!!

  2. It is about 2 miles from Epcot, 2 miles for Disney Hollywood Studios, 6 miles from Magic Kingdom, 6 miles from Animal Kingdom, and about 10 miles from SeaWorld, and about 12 miles from Universal Studios Orlando http://www.orlandofuntickets.com/disney_...

    Have fun!

  3. Port Orleans Riverside is a very nice resort.  It is very close to Downtown Disney, Epcot, and MGM.  Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are a little farther away, but still pretty close.  Also, by staying there you will have Disney transportation available to you.  As for Sea World, it's about 10 miles from the resort.  Have a great trip.

  4. Port Orleans Riverside is on Disney property, so it is part of the Walt Disney World Resort.  There are 4 parks on Disney property and the resort is a short bus ride to all four.  Disney runs buses from the hotel to all the parks continuously throughout the day, about every 20 minutes, so you have no problem.

Sea World is about 20-30 minutes away.  Your best bet is to take a cab unless you have a rental car.

It is a lovely resort with a very cool pool area.

Based on your question, this may be your first trip to Disney.  I would recommend using an itinerary and touring plans service.  Many people go to Disney unaware of the size and scope of it all.  There are 4 main parks and 2 water parks.  There are 100's of rides, shows and other attractions.  There are many restaurants and other options as well.  We used a company called Custom Mouse Plans to plan our trip and they were great!  They did all our dining reservations, made an itinerary that had us in the less crowded parks, and made touring plans that kept us out of the lines.  The longest we waited for any ride was 15 minutes and we saw waits that were over 2 hours long!

  5. Here are other good resources to help you plan your trip.  You can find pictures and details about your hotel at the first site, too.  I second the vote for touring plans and included a link for my favorite site for that, the Unofficial Guide to Disney.  They are very inexpensive and will save you so much time waiting in line.
