Question:

Disney Cruise Land & Sea exhausting?

A few years back we went on a 7-day Disney cruise and had a wonderful vacation. We loved Castaway Cay and want to go on the 4-day which hits the island twice. We were thinking of a land and sea package but had heard from someone else that it was exhausting and they wished they had just done the cruise for 7-days. Has anyone enjoyed doing the land & sea package?

  1. A few years back we did the land and cruise package and really enjoyed it.  It's like getting the best of both worlds.  Exhausting?  Well, Disney World is always exhausting - make sure to do the land part first so you can relax on the cruise afterwards!

  2. We just got back on the 5th.  Did 3 days land and 4 night cruise.  The parks are always exhausting...but the cruise wasn't.  We didn't do a lot on the cruise.  Enjoyed the ship, food and shows...Did one shore thing a day.

Did Castaway Cay twice too.  Very relaxing there.  Nassua was ok, did a snorkling cruise.  Which was fun and not too exhausting.

We did the shorter cruise this time because it was our first cruise and wasn't sure how we'd like it.  Next time it will be a longer one.  And besides we love the parks, so why go all that way (which is quite a distance for us) and not do the parks.

    Have fun.

  3. We did the land and sea trip to introduce our then young daughters (5 and 7) to cruising.

After 4 days at Disney, we (the parents) were exhausted on the cruise.  We hardly did anything on the cruise but crash.

My little kids really enjoyed it.  Too much Mickey Mouse for me.
