Question:

Disney Cruise for PreTeens?

I am going on a Disney Cruise with my family this June, and my sister's 13th birthday is in August. She really wants to do the Teen activities (and thinks the Big Kid activities are too little for her), but isn't old enough to do them, by a month. Will the cruise line be flexible, and let her do the Teen activities, or does she have to do the Big Kid activities?

  1. She will have to follow the rules until she and the family board.  Once onboard, go to the Purser's Desk and ask to speak with the activities director.  Once there, explain your situation (she's likely to be considered a teen).  Don't go in like gangbusters and demand; it won't get you anywhere.  Be courteous and honest and you will see her in the teen activities.

  2. Ya, they will bend the rules a little bit; the rules are just so that you don't have 8 year olds going in the Bar, and annoy adults, and so that 2 year olds dont get squashed by a 9 year old playing DDR.

Clubs where you can hang out:

    Newborn/Babies- Flounders Nursery

2-5(or mabye six): I forgot what it's called, but it's across from the oceaneer's lab

    7-12: Oceaneer's Lab

    10-14: Ocean Quest

    13-18: The Stack

They make all of theese exceedingly fun for everybody. Now just some things to tell you before you go on the cruise.

-It is COMPLETELY safe, so you can wander around by your self

    -Food and service is AMAZING

i have to go, but the whole thing is going to be absolutely amazing. (I just came back last saturday from the 7 day.)
