  1. I went on one 2 years ago.

There is a teen club, But I didn't find it that fun, so I stuck with the pool, free ice cream, and arcade

I didnt get the banana boat thing..

I wish I would have put on sun block lol

I don't know about the music, I didnt get into the teen club

The private beach is amazing lol, theres a lot to do, like feed/swim with sting rays [super fun]

The game show, we just watched it, lol we didn't get into it, it looked like a lot of fun though

  2. I've been on a few disney cruises & i think you will enjoy them very much! Im EXTREMELY jelous of you :) haha anyways, theres soooo much for teens! it's really a chill place to be since theres no parents allowed, & the workers help you meet people & are extremely friendly!! Could couldnt have made a better choice, choosing the banana boat excursion! I wanted to do it but i wasnt sure about it so i just didnt, but i really regret it! i saw how much fun they were having just speeding across the beautiful castaway key! Im deffinatly doing it the next time i go! They play every type of music in the teen lounge. anything you want, you can tell them & they'll play it for you. The private beach is awesome!! They have a section devoted for teens to snorkle in, my brother did it said it was pretty cool. & they have a volley-ball net where they will find people to match with others & stuff. & then they have games out there i think like basketball, ping pong & various activities. You'll really enjoy it! Want triple the fun? I suggest you bring a friend. Sometimes people bring their own friends & they dont care to meet anyone new, so sometimes friend making can be hard, but that will be anywhere you go! I cant remember about the family game show much. Its been a year, but I remember it was funny & pretty cool! Overall- you'll have a great time, i cried when i had to leave the ship! & im a teenager. hahaha. well have a nice vaca! hope this helped! :)

  3. LUCKY,LUCKY, LUCKY you.  You will have the time of your lives.  My family has travelled all over with our daughter, and of all the many places and things we've done in the world, the Disney Cruise is what she most often talks about.  Service is impeccable.  The rooms are nice.  The food is really good.  There is a teen club which some kids like and some don't.  The beach at Castaway key is great and others have already commented on that.  We did do the Banana Boating and it was a blast.  They put 5 or 6 people on an inflatable yellow "banana" and take you out in the ocean really fast handing on for dear life.  IT is a blast- moms, dads, and kids alike love that one!!!  Have a great time!!

  4. In 1999 I took my teen daughter on a Disney cruise. At dinner they seated other teen girls of the same age with us. She was so busy with new friends that I hardly saw her again. In fact those kids are still friends even though they live in different states. You will have a ball and you won't be bored unless you hole up in your room and refuse to join in. Missy is now 21 and still referes to that cruise as her favorite childhood memories

  5. Oh my god - you are going to have SO. MUCH. FUN.

The kids have a completely private area on the cruise ship (an entire level), and you can come and go as you please, it's LOADED with video games and cool stuff, and is open until 2am!

The staff are WONDERFUL, they have activities and parties and all sorts of great stuff... and you will NEVER SEE YOUR PARENTS except for meals!

When you first get on board, make sure you go sign up at the teen club.  They'll give you a program with all the activities and stuff... and your only problem is going to be making time for EVERYTHING, it's all so COOL.

Take a camera, and take LOTS of pictures... and also take along something you can put your contact information on (I made my son little "business cards" with his name, email address, phone number, etc.)... you're going to make friends and have experiences that you will remember for the rest of your life.

The private island is AMAZING... and if you want to sign up for the family feud, DO SO EARLY.  Even if your parents don't want to, you can sign up with other kids from your age group and go on as a team THAT way, too.

They have kareoke, scavenger hunts, parties... and we had a "dress like a pirate" night!

I absolutely assure you - YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE AN AMAZING TIME.  :)

    My kids did!  :D

  6. I went just last November. I was 14 then. It was so much fun and I really want to go again even though I'm so much older.. Haha only one year. But I made tons of friends. I was in the suite. I went for a whole week. The one in Florida Carribean. I loved it so much. You don't really care about the little kids, and by the way, there aren't THAT many running around. The menu is reasonable, but me and my friends had so much fun. We never did the teen club activities but we would be there only to meet up and then go off ands do our own thing all together. I would get back to my room at like 3 in the morning. My friends had told me they had been on many cruises for Disney before but the one I went to was the best... You just have to get reallly lucky with the friends you meet. But I'm sure you meet someone. I LOVE DCL! I hope you have fun and you are sooooo blessed to have to oppurtunity to go. It's something I don't think I could ever forget... The beach was pretty much awesome. Don't forget to do the excursions for teens, like the banana boat... and the movies are pretty updated.

teen dances: hm idk i don't really know about those ones, the glow jam was alright, and homecoming was okay, but mainly i hung out with my friends just us. we barely did the activities for the teen club, the stack. i really liked to food tho. i really miss the cruise and i would miss a whole yr of school if i could go again. good luck and happy cruising!
