My dad wantsto get the ocean view room. I saw pictures i dont know if they are bad pictures, but the room looks very cheap and like wooden or something. Does anyone have so nice pictures of the room that they took or explain to me how the room looks because im going on a cruise not stopping off the road and going to a cheap Holiday Inn

  1. Because the cabins are long and narrow it is hard to get a really good picture, but trust me, you won't be disappointed with the room.  We've been on both the Magic and the Wonder, both are almost identical and both are beautiful ships!  When it comes to cruises, you can't beat Disney for design, service and "Magic".

  2. I've been on Disney Magic Cruise Ship during a 10-day Mediterranean Cruise last summer.  The Disney Cruise line (Disney Magic and Disney Wonder) have cabins that are actually a little larger than their counterparts on other similarly sized ships.

First difference (and one of the best) is that you have two bathroom compartments that helps get the family (or couple) ready in the morning.  One Bathroom compartment has a sink and shower, the second bathroom compartment has a sink and toilet).

The rooms with with Balcony are nice with two chairs and a table.

Overall, Disney did well in designing it with families in mind, but it was a perk for us (a couple) on our anniversary.  Rooms came with a refrigerator, safe, hairdryer, and plenty of storage.

    Have fun and enjoy.

  3. Cruise ship staterooms are very difficult to show in a simple picture.  The Disney ships have some of the nicest  staterooms.  They're larger and have a better layout than some very popular cruise lines.  The wood gives the stateroom a certain warmth that plastic can never duplicate.

If you don't like the looks of the stateroom, turn out the lights and go to sleep.  You'll probably spend very little of you time in the stateroom with all the activities aboard the ship and in port.

Go and have a great cruise.

  4. It is not cheap at all! The rooms are really nice aboard the Magic and the Wonder. Probably bad quality pictures... Not the rooms. If you go, you'll defiantly be satisfied! Sorry, no pics!

  5. On a cruise you spend the least amount of time in your cabin.

    Enjoy everything else!
