I will be at Orlando the last week of october and I am thinking of going to this event, I will be with my boyfriend and my 7 year old son. I wanted to know how does this work? Where do I buy the tickets? Can you get in the rides with that ticket? And the Universal Horror Nights, could I take my son? or is it too frightening? Thanks in advance.

  1. For your son he'd like Disney's Not So Scary Parade!! However, Universal's may be a bit scary depending on your son.

  2. YESSSSSSS

The Not So Scary Halloween party is awesome i have been like 5 times and it is so cool.   Everyone dresses up and they have candy all over the park.  It is not busy and it has a really cool parade and fireworks.

  3. The Not So Scary party is fun, but I don't know if it's worth it.  They turn down the lights, it is crowded and very easy to be run down by inconsiderate people with strollers.

The lines for the rides are very short, the candy is not that great.

For the money I have friends who say the Halloween party at Sea World is much better.

  4. I haven't taken my son to the Halloween Party, but we went to the Pirate and Princess Party and my 8 year old loved it!  It was well worth the price of admission.  They do a special parade and fireworks and the lines for the rides tend to be shorter.  You can call Disney to purchase your tickets.  We have tickets for the party on September 12th and he is really looking forward to it.

  5. I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. My son is 4 almost 5 and we have been every year plus a year or two efore he was born. This is one of my favorite events at Disney. It is worth every dime you pay and you will have so much fun. We are going for the Sept 12th party this year.

On these selected dates the Magic Kingdom will close early to regular park people. Around 5:30-6 pm if you have bought a halloween party ticket you may reenter. You can uy these onlie, at 407-w-disney, at your hotel or even at the park if they are not sold out. You get to everything you normally do. All the rides and attractions will be open. DON"T FORGET THE COSTUME!!! This is the funnest part dressing up. Familes and ids all dress up. They have trick or treat stations and kids will get an orange bag to trick or treat at the stations. They have a unique parade and hallo wishes fireworks that you will only see at this party. The charcters will even be in costume. It is great!
