How much does it costs for a plane ticket from

California to Florida? And how much for adult and children?

A few suggestions:

Go to the Yahoo search engine and type in cheap flights (link below).  Compare prices.  You can find some good last minute deals.  Fill in your dates and numbers, etc.

Once you narrow it down talk to a travel agent.  These days sometimes travel agents will match internet prices.

What did the airlines say when you called them directly? What did the travel agent say when you called them directly?

Why aren't you able to go to a website to price them out yourself? It's hard to help you without you trying to help yourself first!
