Disney World at Christmas or March?

We were originally planning to go to Disney world in December of 08'. The time from Christmas to New Years. But we decided that it might be too busy. So we're thinking of the middle of March 09'. Does anyone know if it will be busier in December or March? And is the middle of March generally that busy anyways?

i would go in Christmas BUT that might be a time where there is a lottt of people.

It's Disney World it's always busy! But December might be a bit more crowded because the kids are off school. If you have kids it will a lot more fun for them if you went over Christmas because they'll get to see the Disneychannel stars.

It's a pretty busy place no matter when you go.  I went around Christmas time a couple years back and the decorations were amazing as well as a beautiful fireworks show for New Years....however...It was a total zoo with long lines.

You may run into spring breakers in March, but Christmas is still busier.  The decorations are really nice, but it is just ridiculously busy.  A great time to go is early December, when all the decorations are out, but the people aren't there yet.

But choosing between the two, I would definitely pick March.
