Disney store, want to cancel order?

I ordered a cars tool kit for my son and I found out today my grandmother got him once already but it is a spongebob one. He does not need two so I want to cancel the cars one however I can not figure out how to do so and im worried if I get it there going to charge me for shipping it not only to me but back to them.

Does anyone know how to go about canceling an order and if they will charge me shipping?

First, this really depends on where you purchased it from.  Did you call an actual Disney Store that is physically located in a mall?  If so, you need to contact that store directly and find out if the item has already been shipped.  If it HAS been shipped, the store will return the merchandise, but not the shipping.  If it has not been shipped, they will cancel the order and credit you back.

    If you ordered it from DisneyShopping.com/DisneyStore.com, then you need to contact them directly to cancel the order (trry to have the order number ready to make finding the order faster).  I cannot find on the site if they have a certain time frame to cancel orders before they go out without being charged for shipping.  It's likely, though, that the policy is the same as the stores...that if the order has already been sent, you can return the product, but the shipping fee will not be returned since it considered "services rendered."    Their phone  number is 1-800-328-0368 during the hours of 8am - 11pm ET, 11am - 9pm ET weekends.  Keep in mind, too, that products purchased off the website can be returned at the physical stores (with a strict 60 day, receipt required policy) so you don't have to pay to ship something back.


  2. Call them direct,if you don't get ahold of them befor they ship, you'll probably have to pay for shipping back to them/
