  1. when are you going?tell me all about it

  2. I  am going there in a month too (staying at Disney), I am just going to get my tickets when I am there.  I doubt you would save a whole lot, if anything, getting them before hand.  Check the websites of wherever you want to go, they will tell you.

  3. This is a link to a ticket calculator that will show you cheap disney options depending on your preferences.

This is a link that has cheap universal tickets, its where I got mine (i went for the unlimited 2 park and wet'n'wild) cheapest that I could find.

Disney is pretty much going to be the same price at home or when you get to Orlando but having to stand in line to buy tickets when you get to the park is wasting valuable time. You could book online from disneyworld.com which is what I did.

Hope this helps :D Have fun!

  4. For Disney tickets you'll be lucky if you can save a dollar.  Lot's of people selling tickets for Disney add a convenience fee on top of the normal ticket price because you don't have to wait in the cue (Like that?  An American using proper English!) at Disney.

That being said, it may be well worth your time to buy tickets ahead of time to skip that cue, it could save you about 20 minutes.  Go to the real Disney website so you know what prices should be and just do some shopping around.

I would buy my tickets for Universal at the official Universal website.  They usually have good deals on their tickets.  You'll print out a confirmation of your purchase then go to an automated teller that is next to the sometimes massive line to buy tickets on site and the machine will scan your confirmation and spit out your tickets.  I wouldn't plan more than 3 days at Universal.  Universal is my favorite park but you can do it all in 2 days pretty easily.

SeaWorld tickets are best to buy at the park.  They have live agents that will sell you tickets but if you can figure out the automated tellers that you swipe a credit card and then tell it what kind of ticket you want you will be able to save yourself 10 to 15 minutes.  SeaWorld has been selling "fun pass" tickets that allow you to come back as many times as you like for the rest of the year for same price as a standard ticket.

One last thing.  If you're coming over the last weekend of September or any time in October and your young ones are over 12 DO NOT MISS Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights.  It is very scary but it's unlike anything you've ever seen before!

  5. It is actually cheaper to buy from an American discount ticket provider.  I suggest that you go through Orlando Fun Tickets at http://www.Orlandofuntickets.com for Universal Tickets and Disney World Tickets.

  6. Best to compare prices here and there.

  7. It is a bit cheaper to buy your tickets before you go.

    www.undercovertourist.com

    and

    www.ticketmania.com

are both good sites and are approved by Disney.

The Universal site usually has the best prices for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
