  1. Individual rides at Disney World do not cost anything in addition to your base ticket.  The base pass will cover every ride, show, attraction, fireworkds performance etc.  What will cost extra is attending a special event like the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party or the Christmas Party.

Your base ticket will include admission to every ride/attraction in one park a day.  If you wish to visit multiple parks in a day you have to purchase the Park Hopper option.  Again, all rides, shows etc are included, but the ticket will let you do one park in the morning and another in the evening if desired.

Now, as far as seperate rides go what you can check into is the FastPass.  This will allow you to stick your admission ticket into a machine and receive a small ticket (and your admission ticket back) to return to the ride at a certain time.  Show up at the ride during that time and bypass the waiting.  Note that you do not have to return to the ride during that exact block of time, WDW knows that by the time your ticket says you may be clear across the park, so they will allow you to skip the wait with your FastPass Ticket anytime after the "start" time on the ticket.

So, the only thing you will need extra money for when going into the Disney Parks is food, souveneirs and if you forgot any "neccessities" at home when packing.  We return to the campground for meals and bring water bottles in to the parks with us, so we can do a whole day in the parks without spending a dollar out of our pockets.

    Have fun!

  2. All major rides and shows are included in the price of admission for Disney theme parks.

Arcade and midway-style games have a separate charge.

Prices for Walt Disney World tickets can be found here:

  3. The price of admission includes entry to all of the attractions.  Disney did away with the individual ticket rides decades ago........

  4. my gosh what you think you are going to pay $75 to get in and then have to pay for the rides! no way.

the admission price pays for all rides, shows, and attractions.

the only things you have to pay for are food, drinks, and souvenirs.

its not like a carnival where you pay per ride.

thats all included in your base ticket.

  5. The base price includes almost every ride and site.  There are only a few at each park that cost extra, same in all the parks, not just Disney. There's so much to see and do why pay more? The extras are like the race cars. They are CLEARLY marked.

  6. Your entrance to the parks gives you unlimited ability to ride any ride you want.  The only decision you have to make is the options on your tickets.

There are a few levels of option you can add to the base ticket.  First of all, the base ticket allows you entrance to one park per day.  You can come and go, but only into one park.  The first option is the park hopper.  I usually purchase the park hopper option, and I highly recommend it to anyone staying longer than 3 or 4 days.  The park hopper allows you to come and go as you please to any of the four major parks.  My family and I like to go to one park in the morning, then hit a different one in the evening.  We also have had the issue where we got into the Magic Kingdom, found it was very crowded, left and went to Epcot.  You can only do this if you have the park hopper.  Adding the option gives you a bit more flexibility.

The "Water Parks and More" option gives you access to the water parks and DisneyQuest, again unlimited.  On our last visit we hit the Animal Kingdom in the morning, then in the evening it was raining, so we went to DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney.  If you plan on doing the water parks or DisneyQuest this is a good idea.

The other options are no expiration date.  If you are planning on using all the days on your pass, you don't need this.  I usually get a length of stay pass, so it is finished when I am leaving.

I hope this helps.  If you want more info on Disney, and even a few more people's input on which pass may be right for you check out the disboards.  The disboards is a message boards website, free, that is all about going to WDW.  You can get resort reviews, restaurant reviews, advice, tips and tricks and much more.  I learn something new each time I am on the site, and I consider myself a Disney veteran with multiple trips under my belt.  I put the link below.

    Have a great trip!!
