  1. Disney is my favorite place ever

you should definatly ride splash mountain, space mountain, rock'n roller coster, mt everest, carosel of progress, mickeys philarmagic, small world(makes your disney trip complete) pirates of the caribian, and lights motor action the show.

btw a good place to eat in disney is ohanas in the polonision best breakfast ever!

  2. I'm 30-something and I love WDW!!! I've gone every year since I was like 2 1/2.  I would seriously recommend checking out a few websites to get yourself familiar with what is there.

    1.  www.disney.com to get a map of the attractions

    2. Check out your accommodations, and rides, and restaurants and stuff like that at places like www.allearsnet.com and www.wdwinfo.com

    3.  I love, love, love the touring plans on www.touringplans.com.  They give you an idea of how to structure your day at the parks to avoid long lines.  I used them for the first time (finally) in May when I went for my bachelorette party and they saved us a TON of time.  So much so we could re-do some of our favorite rides and attractions.

    4.  Go to a Guest Relations office and get a complimentary "First Visit" pin.  Cast members (employees) go out of their way to make sure you have a great time, and they like to chat with you.

    5.  I would recommend (especially if you won't get back to WDW in a while) to ride in the front of the monorail with the pilot.  It is a pretty cool view (you'll probably have to wait for a turn)

Relax, have fun and make great memories.

  3. okay, i live by disney and have had an annual pass for several year. here are my tips. since you are only there three days i have picked them carefully.

1- while you still can, pick your rides. go on the rides you don't want to miss first. that way if you miss something, it will be something that was not high on your list.

2- start early. get to the park so that you can be inside before the official opening. they always have an opening procedure. the first two hours have the smallest crowds. go for the biggest, most popular rides first.

3- use fast pass. its free and you can can safe time by not having to stand in line.

4- if you are staying at a disney hotel, they allow you into the parks early or allow you to stay late. that varies by date. check with the hotel or www.allearsnet.com to find out what parks are coverd on what days.

5- know that you will not be able to see everything and be okay with that. because it means that there will be new things to discover the next time you visit.

okay. that should take care of it for now. however, i do have some personal notes...

    - If you go to Epcot, try the snow cones in Japan. they are very good.

    - its hot. you need to keep hydrated. make sure you are drinking water. many people get over heated and end up at the nurses station.

  4. Do the parks in the daytime, but don't forget to go to Pleasure Island, especially The Adventurers Club, in the evening. It is hilarious and a real Hidden Disney Treasure. Do not postpone this until your next visit, because WDW plans to shut down the Pleasure Island clubs (including The Adventurers Club and Comedy Warehouse) as of September 28, 2008.

  5. Magic Kingdom:   Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Mickey's Philharmagic, stay for the fireworks.

Animal Kingdom: Expedition: Everest, the safari ride, It's Tough to be a Bug, Nemo show, Dinosaur!, The Festival of the Lion King.  (this is a half day park for me..)

EPCOT: Mission: Space, Soarin', Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, the nightly laser light show is great, Test Track.

Disney's Hollywood Studios: Muppers 3-D, Star Tours, Tower of Terror, Voyage of the LIttle Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast show, Rock n Rollercoaster, Indianna Jones show, Fantasmic.

Wear comfortable shoes & socks, sunscreen & a hat are a must, don't carry everything you own (they check all bags going in & they are a pain to lug around all day).

Get a copy of Birnbaum's Disney guide -- a great resource.

    Have fun!

    :o)

  6. There is so much to see at Disney World! I went with my marching band when I was 14! I would say

-DEFINITELY get to know how to use fast passes

-*eat dinner and lunch early in the parks!!!* (the lines and restaurants can get packed!)

-Ride all of the rides with the word 'mountain' in it (like space mountain, splash mountain, etc.)

-ride the Dinosaur ride in animal kingdom (its so fun when you go with a big group of people on it!)

-bring lots of money for souvenirs

    -hydrate

-Oh and BRING THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES AND SOCKS THAT YOU HAVE!!!!!! The parks were large and my feet would be BURNING at the end of the day!

-Ride Test track and tower of terror

-Go on the ride that is inside of the epcot ball

-Go on the backlot tour  ride, where you can see real props used in movies and things like that.

-Get a really good seat for the Epcot fireworks show. It's amazing!

-Go to the Fantasmic show in MGM. It is a wonderful show with some fireworks, fountains, all of the disney characters and some great special effects. I will never ever forget that show. If you love disney things GO TO THAT SHOW!

-Try foods in the world showcase part of Epcot and take tons of pictures. My personal favorite place there was the bakery in france. Such good croissants!

-There are people that work there who can take professional pictures of you in front of the Cinderella castle for free! Make sure to find those people. I think they are dressed in khaki and they have their cameras set up.

-Try a cream cheese filled pretzel while in Magic Kingdom

-Plan what rides you want to go on

-Get a map in the park that also has the times for the parades on it

You are going to have so much fun! So much to do, so much to see. Take lots of pictures and get an extra memory card for your digital camera if you can, because you will want it. I wish I could go back there again! have a great time.
