  1. Even if you were blocked out on the day you bought the pass, they would allow you to get into the park anyway--the first day of your pass is a freebie.

Once you buy the pass, they'll give you what looks like a normal ticket. You then go to the "bank" on Main Street and get your picture taken, as well as the card. And yes, you can use your annual passport to get FastPasses. You can also get discounts at a bunch of different stores and restaurants so make sure you check out which ones those are.

  2. Yeah you can buy it that day and use it to get in. Then you go get your picture taken the same day and you will get your pass right there. You also use the pass for fast passes. The deluxe pass has blackout days and the premium doesn't and with the premium you get free parking which is great!

  3. The first day you use your annual pass, it is not consider to be a blockout day.  So, you don't have to wait until August to purchase a passport.

When you purchase your pass at the ticket booth, you are directed by the ticket takers to the Annual Passport Processing Center at the Bank of Main St.  Here they will take your picture and exchange your paper passport into the real thing.

Yes, you can use your pass for fastpass immediately.
