Question:

Disneyland Cast Members Suggestions?

I really want to work at Disneyland, and, although I'm far away (North of Seattle), it's always been a dream.

Anyway, i have a few questions for previous, or current, cast members from Disneyland (Preferably, though any other park-ers would be welcome).

First, if i do choose to do so, i would want to go down there asap (say, as soon after i graduate high school as possible). And, i know the summer is one of the busiest times ever. So, would i have a better chance of getting a full-time job before, slightly after it began, or after the summer rush is over? (Also, does that start in May?June? July?)

Since i am so far away, i'm not sure if the DL job number i keep seeing will help me much, and i'm going back next Christmas, so is there anywhere in DL (Or within, say, a mile or two of it) i can get any info on applying?

Oh, and while i'm not certain of anything right now, looking into their college is an option, so if thet's suggested, i'll look into that as well.

Thank You!

  1. My advice to you is to look into the Disney University for college program.  The whole Disney team just started a brand new program where they offer majorly discounted housing while you work at the park or company and learn about their business ethics and what ever you are majoring in.  Or just go to college down here and live at the dorms like CSUF (nicknamed: Cal State Disney) or Chapman University and get a regular job there.

They do have seasonal jobs where they only ask for employees to work during the holiday season and summer.

  2. this summer has actually been pretty dead...usually fridays and weekends during the school year are busy.

you would most likely have a better chance of getting a full time job after the summer rush....but who knows, they're always hiring full time, part time, seasonal, you name it, they're hiring.

summer would usually start in may

if you go to http://disney.go.com/disneycareers/disne... they have a ton of info on how to apply and where to apply. when i applied, it took 8 hours to stay there till they said i got the job.

    good luck!!
