Disneyland Paris?!??!?!?

Question

We've decided to go to Disneyland Paris.

We don't want to spend a fortune on hotels. Does anyone know of any cheap hotels that are not too far from Disneyland Paris?

Also, is there anything else to do in the area?

I looked on the website and saw that they've got 2 different parks! Which one is better?? We will only go to Diesneyland for one day, so we can only visit one park.

Does anyone knows one of the following hotels in theat area?

I believe they are just a short drive away from Disneyland.

Which one would you recommend??

Disneyland Paris is in "Marne La Vallée".

It takes arround 35-45 minutes to go there by car, depending on the traffic. Watch out for the automatic speed cameras on the way it's very easy to get caught...

There are indeed 2 parks: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios.

If you want to visit only one park, I recommend the Disneyland Park as it is the most popular and the one with the most attractions and shows.

However, you can also get hopper tickets and switch between both parks as much as you want. They are very close to each other (a 5 minutes walk).

Each parks have very good rides, thrills or quieter ones.

If you visit the Walt Disney Studios, dont forget do ride the Hollywood Tower Terror, a brand new very good attraction.

For the Hotels, I have been told that the Akenas hotels are quite a good value for money and quite close to the resort.

If you don't want to spend too much money, you can stay in this hotel for less than 50€ per night.

It is located in Bussy Saint Georges, closer to Disneyland than Torcy but mostly much nicer a town than the ones you selected.

This town is a 10 minute drive from the resort and 20 from Paris when the traffic is light.

Renember Disneyland patis has it's own RER stop so don't be affraid of a hotel closer to Paris .

It's freaking PARIS.  Skip Disneyland and go to a d**n museum.
