Disneyland Ticket Question?

Ok well we go to Disneyland in California every year since we're so close by. We have some family friends that work there who can get us discounts but August is there black out dates. I wanted to know if there is any way we can get a LEGAL really good discount. Like at Ralphs or something. I also wanted to know if they give discounts to people who are in the milatary or who are veterans. Please help we are planning to go the 23rd of August. Thanks!

Currently there are no discounts for military/veterans (although that would be a good PR move on their part to consider). Ralph's only sells multi-day hopper passes, and Disney has a special going only for multi-day hopper passes on their website.

The only two discounts that I can think of are using a AAA membership (but that only works on package deals involving a stay at the Disneyland Resort hotels), or SoCal CityPass (which includes tickets to other theme parks).
